The Duramax Weston 72" Industrial Desk combines a generous solid wood work surface with open storage and substantial steel construction to create a workspace that feels both hardworking and beautifully considered. A richly stained solid Acacia wood top stretches a full six feet across a rugged 10-gauge powder-coated steel frame, giving Weston the strength and presence of premium industrial furniture without the visual bulk of a conventional office desk.
At 72" wide x 24" deep, the expansive surface gives you room to spread out. Build a multi-monitor office, create a serious gaming setup, organize a design or creative studio, or simply enjoy the freedom of a desk that doesn't force everything into a small footprint.
Instead of enclosed drawers, Weston features two integrated open wood shelves at one end of the desk. Books, baskets, equipment, speakers, supplies and display pieces remain easy to reach while most of the area beneath the work surface stays open and uncluttered.
Designed to Keep the Workspace Open
Weston's open architecture is one of its greatest strengths. The asymmetrical shelf arrangement adds useful storage without turning the desk into a bulky cabinet, while cross-braced steel sides and exposed industrial hardware give the piece its distinctive character.
The combination of stained Acacia wood and a textured black steel frame makes Weston equally at home in a home office, study, creative studio, gaming room, design space, bedroom or professional workspace. The open shelves can be functional, decorative or both, giving you the freedom to personalize the desk around the way you work.
At approximately 150 lb., Weston has the substantial feel expected from real industrial furniture. This is not a lightweight temporary desk; it is designed to become an anchor piece in the room.
More room to work. More freedom to organize. Less visual clutter.

Came damaged, and screws bent and broken inside the wood. And metal was bent. As well, it took a whole month to come to my house.

It's fairly sturdy if it's put together correctly
It's fairly sturdy if it's put together correctly, but it's time consuming to build. Read the directions very carefully as the pictures have details in them you really have to pay attention to. Buy silicone caulking to go along with it. It's required in the instructions but not included. You may also want to get some screen material for bug proofing the vents.
