We installed the 13x10 Garden Glass Room on a raised stone pad on our hillside lot, tucked in among the trees, and it’s exactly what we hoped for. The anthracite finish and big glass panels give it a clean, modern look that fits right in with the house and the landscape. From inside you get trees on every side and a view down the canyon.
The build quality impressed us. The insulated steel wall and roof panels feel substantial, the 1/4" tempered glass is heavy-duty, and the double glass doors open wide enough to move furniture in easily. The sloped roof and gutter handle drainage cleanly.
We assembled it between myself and my son and took us around 6 hours. Plan for a level, well-prepared foundation and an extra pair of hands when the walls and roof go up. Keep in mind that flooring, electrical and climate control aren’t included, so budget for those if you’ll use it as an office or studio year-round which we did
